Health Insurance Coverage for your Practice—Preparing for 2021

One of the biggest costs facing practices today continues to be health insurance coverage for employees. Costs are rising and coverage continues to change year to year. Ohio’s small practices face particular challenges as the small employer market typically experiences the largest increases and fluctuations in coverage—and often with limited options.

For the last six years, OSMA has tried to address this challenge by creating the OSMA Health Benefits Plan (HBP). This plan allows for small practices to come together to collectively form a self-insured plan with benefits that would usually only be an option available to larger employers.

As you review your health insurance coverage this fall in preparation for renewing your benefits for 2021, consider learning more about our OSMA HBP—the health insurance plan built and run by your colleagues.
