Addressing Prediabetes and Hypertension—Your Input Matters!

ODH is conducting one-on-one interviews to discuss current processes, opportunities for improvement, and team-based approaches.

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) is working with primary care practices to understand how they address prediabetes and hypertension. In 2019, ODH began working with Origo Branding on the creation of social marketing initiatives for prediabetes and hypertension, working with healthcare providers (HCPs) to understand how these conditions are addressed in a primary care practice and how a team-based approach is used to promote patient outcomes. The goal being to create social marketing campaigns to drive awareness amongst healthcare providers regarding best practices for prediabetes and hypertension. This project was temporarily put on hold in 2020 in response to COVID-19, but is now being revisited.

ODH is working with Origo Branding to schedule one-on-one interviews to gather feedback from HCPs on the creative concepts that have been developed so far. This discussion would include a review of the work that is up for consideration by ODH and get your feedback on which concepts you feel are most successful and what you believe could use improvement.

Origo is planning to conduct these interviews May 24 – June 4 and each interview is expected to last approximately 1 hour.
