OSMA Member, Bruce Vanderhoff, M.D., Named Director of ODH

Yesterday, Governor DeWine named OSMA member, Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff, as director of the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). For the last nine months, Dr. Vanderhoff served as ODH’s medical director and advisor to the governor. He replaces Stephanie McCloud who returns to her previous position running the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.

OSMA leadership applauds this appointment and looks forward to continuing to work with Dr. Vanderhoff on the numerous current and future public health challenges in Ohio.
