Meeting Interoperability & Avoiding Information Blocking

How Physician Practices Can Become Interoperable in Ohio (FREE)
Information blocking is defined as anything that interferes with, prevents or discourages access to or exchange of electronic health information. To prevent this practice and still protect health data, ONC set regulations into place via the Cures Act Final Rule. Physicians, practice managers and IT staff need to be aware of this rule and the behavioral, workflow and system changes to comply with the various requirements of this new rule that goes into effect April 2021.
